As a person with educational disabilities, I found my own path and along with the help of others, have outshined beyond anyone’s expectations. Huge thanks to my mother, giving me the opportunity to be exposed to STEM at a young age, I experienced the profound impacts that took effect on both my learning journey and personal life throughout these years. Despite the struggles, never a second had I doubted my capability to create, produce, making solutions and solving problems and challenges.

A bold thought that I had, to take IGCSE O level (Year 11) while in Year 9. Above all, I just prepared for it in 2 months.

Not many would believe me when I told them my plan. However, Being a STEM-influenced child, I’ve acquired the invaluable lesson that nothing is impossible until attempted. This idea dawned on me, upon discovering that IGCSE O level will be taking place in 2 months (from Mac 2022), the thought of pursuing my dreams of the Foundation Studies of Mechanical Engineering would soon become a reality had me excited.

With the assistance of my caring mother, we quickly analyzed the challenges of this hurdle with my own capabilities. In the end, I decided to go for it with a full 2-month intensive study plan drawn out. As tough as it may sound, with self-discipline and intact goals, I stick to the schedule every single day while implementing the STEM method of learning to effectively absorb the most out of my study sessions. It is with the STEM mindset which has given me the confidence of a great asset that will carry me throughout this drought, that I was able to tell myself I was going to see it through. not just for myself but everyone else around me picked up useful techniques, tips and tricks to learn faster and to tackle difficult tricky exam questions.
